This a public attempt at creating some sort of accountability. My weight is an issue. I am going to change it. I made myself a promise that if my belly ever stuck out more than my boobs, I've let it go too far. Well, we're at that point. Leaving the house to work out is not a viable option so I'm depending upon myself to get motivated to do things from home. This clearly has not worked so far. So I need people to post and give me ideas on how to get started, stay motivated and yummy food ideas that won't leave me feeling deprived. I don't want fads or the apples only diet or that sort of thing. I need good long term changes that are likely to stick. I AM going to implement some sort of routine where I am doing something active everyday. I AM going to initaite better portion control. I AM going to be a healthy fun mom for my children. I AM going to need help. So, there it is.

Well good for you!! I was watching Dr. Oz and he had a lady on there showing how to do some at home exercise and she did some lunges while vacuuming and squats while doing laundry instead of just bending over. Maybe that will help.

You rock woman! I followed your advice and bought Jilian's DVD. I am giving it to myself for Christmas. I had a friend who just did portion control and Dance Dance Revolution. He lost at least 30lbs. And what I want you to do is enroll Mark in preschool for the rest of the year and then you could work out with me. Or you could enroll Abby. They have a two day two's class... Good luck whatever you decide to do. I think you're fabulous.
