Count Abigail??

Or should we just call her FANG. Maybe that could be her Gladiator name (c'mon, I'm NOT the only one who watches that show right?) Anyhow, here is our sweet little girlie sporting some kickin' fangs. I have been trying ALL day to get a decent shot of both of them but am just too slow. Just try to look really close. She cracks me up when she gives me a giant grin and all you see are those 2 teeth on either side. Her front/center ones aren't far behind and will be making their appearance any day. At 7 months old as of the 22nd Abby has also mastered the art of getting up on all fours and I'm sure in no time will be crawling around causing all sorts of trouble! She is still refusing solids at this point but I'm sure she'll come around soon enough. She is currently recovering from a case of the flu she had last week and over the weekend. She is quite a bit raspy sounding. She has the voice of a jazz or soul singer right now. Megyn James and Mark are all doing well. Megyn recently signed up at school to go to a reading and creative writing convention of sorts in northern Blount County. She will possibly be chosen to attend and would get to write her own short book to read to other 2nd graders who will be doing the same. She will get a chance to meet real authors of children's books and get autographs. It sounds like it will be fun and I hope she gets picked to go. Only 3 children from each class can get picked. James is doing great and has started reading books with 30 pages or more to them. He is really excited about advancing his reading level. Prior to this advancement his books only had 5-10 pages in them so this was a huge jump for him and he's doing so well with it. Mark is a little ball of energy that drives me closer and closer to falling back on my old caffeine habit. He is always full throttle. I love it though because when I'm ready to go somewhere or do something he's ready too. So that's a bit of a mini update on the kids. I will post more about Joe and I as more interesting things happen...right now we're pretty boring. We do have our 10th anniversary coming up in February, so that is pretty exciting! I'm sure I will have more to post between now and then though.
