Ok so I think the one picture probably includes the entire population of Hayden. What I'm getting at is it's a small town and the turnout was impressive. I've never seen anything like it in this area. I'm sure some of the voting stations in Birmingham were a more impressive sight, but I really couldn't believe how many people showed up this morning. And now, finally, those annoying tv ads can go away!! They were driving me nuts. Anyhow, I will be anxiously waiting to find out who won *cough* McCain *cough*

I almost cried when they announced Obama!!
What a sad state our nation is going to be in! I couldn't even watch TV last night..What are Americans thinking?
I was shocked that my guy (and gal) didn't win. I stopped watching last night after they announced Ohio. The old saying keeps coming to mind in regards to Obama "Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it" And I think this country is going to get it. But I also feel conflicted. I feel obligated to support the leader of our country even if it isn't who I would have picked. It's just so hard to do with the vibe I get from Obama. I'll just have to pray that his decisions are inspired by good.
