Trunk or Treat!

Here are some pictures from the Trunk or Treat festivities at our church. I mostly got indoor shots because I was guarding...I mean handing out the candy outside. My kids, literally, came home with more candy than when they went house to house trick or treating last year. I've tried to convince them that now we don't have to go this year, but my efforts were fruitless. What on earth will we do with all of this candy!!?? Anyhow, the church activity was fun. The kids got their faces painted. There were some cute games including a Root Beer chug through baby bottles. I have to say that was pretty funny. All of the people who finished without cheating ;) had these funny little puckers stuck on their faces. Those muscles get sore quick apparently. There is a pic of Megyn/Sleeping Beauty with her friends Savannah/A Jeanie and Sheridon/Sharpay from High School Musical. James was a Jedi again. He reallllly wanted to be a clone trooper but I couldn't believe how expensive those costumes were! Maybe I can get one on clearance for next year. But he was a good sport and enjoyed himself. Oh and notice the length of the cloak. Last year it was dragging the ground!! The boy has grown so much! Mark was a Monkey again mostly because he still loves that costume and it fits. And Abby was a little ballerina with some modifications to her costume because it was so cold....basically a tutu over a sweatsuit. Still cute though. We had some friends who dressed up as Sarah Palin and Cindy McCain, that was pretty awesome! What was also impressive was our friend Eric's balloon shaping talent. He makes all sorts of stuff, guns, swords, flower hats, animals of all kinds. What was most impressive was his ability to blow the darn balloons up. Think I'm silly? Go try to do it! He sent me home with several to try and I still haven't been able to do it!

Oh man, If I only had a picture of the face James made when I jumped out of the turnk and a tape recorder the squeal that came out of his mouth. He has the funniest reaction!
